Default Nymph ID please

Had a wratch around in the shallows of my local river and found this critter under a stone, think its a stoneclinger of some sort but my colourblind deficiency means I can't differentiate any colours so would like to know what the colours are upon this wee fella and what exactly it is. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

mark

Jeez! I'm impressed Spencer didn't know you were an expert in this field, thanks for the ID clarification. Which dun is this one likely to turn into, will it be a dark olive?

Autumn Dun Mark
Very similar to the Large Brook Dun , both Nymphs are Clingers and are very much the same.

Sorry Spencer but it's not the autumn. The autumn doesn't have the black segment before the tails and the eyes are a different shape. Deffo LBD

No need to appologise. Try and get hold of "A Pictorial Guide to British Ephemeroptera" by Craig Macadam and Cyril Bennett. FSC Publication.

2 more books to look out for and by John Goddard. "Trout Fly Recognition" and Trout Flies Of Stillwater". You'll have to check second hand book stall etc. Also "Matching The hatch" Pat O'Reilly.
