Default John Goddard

I'm looking for a guide for stillwaters. Does his book " Waterside Guide " cover them or is it just for rivers?

If it is just the stillwaters you are interested in then this one would do. It is an old book but still worth a read.

If you want comprehensive cover, John Goddard's Trout Fly Recognition and his Trout Flies Of Still Water. His Waterside Guide is a condensed version of both books.

Going to start off simple for now. Made the mistake of buying every book on gardening I could get and now use only a couple so I will save my money for tackle instead

Thanks Stuart
