Default Identification: Baetis scambus?

These guys had me stumped in the wind on the Test yesterday. I am guessing Baetis scambus but that would seem too early, no? Otherwise the Small Spurwing Centroptilum luteolum. I will post some better pics later in the week but I think I see double intercalary veins unless that's simply because of the two wings.... 6mm body length.

Female Baetis Scambus or Baetis Fuscatis would be my guess. I can't tell the difference.

It does.

Genus Baëtis for sure, one of the pale wateries, just in case can we have an enlargement of the rear wing shape also?

I have to admit I can only guess at where the hind wing is!

Here's a sample from yesterday. I guess these are more likely B. fuscatus given the time of the year.

You know I simply can't see a hindwing on that fly even when I see it close up which means it's probably a pale evening dun: procloeon bifidum rather than the B. scambus or B.fuscatus.

Endrick, if you look just above the leg the hindwing is lying flat, small spur shape so i would say B. fuscatus (pale watery)

Still can't see it - not in any of the pictures. I've read in several places BTW that entomologists argue about whether Fuscatus and Scambus are races of the same species - I certainly can't tell the difference.
