Gary...

Did a detailed kick sample with a expirenced entomologist last thursday on the Tees, There was a very big emergence of Iron Blues in the same area as last year, also encouraging were the result's of the kick samples that we carried out, according to the entomoligist " no'wonder that we have large Grayling on the Tees". at te moment the river is teeming with invertibrates. Need some rain though!!.

Grannom.

sorry gary ive just seen this, the iron blue has made a good come back on my local river over the last 3 years, there were some trout taking them but not consistant, there was a very cold wind/rain keeping them down, improved by 3pm then a hatch of olive uprights brought the trout on the feed.
