Default Bit exotic for Ramsbottom

While out walking with my daughter a fortnight ago I spied a ladybird sat on top of a fence post so pointing it out we both took a closer look only to meet this little fellow sat on the other side of the post.

I have never seen anything like it before????????

Thinking about it the thing looked a bit lifeless and almost stuffed.

I suppose it could have been the empty case from the ladybird now sat on top of the post.

Evil looking beasts

They pupate like a butterfly and emerge by splitting the back so this mammoth looks like its just about to hunker down and begin its metamorphosis.
