Spider is on a distinguished road
Default Sedge identification

Sorry chaps, no photo, but as part of my bug learning efforts today i caught a sedge.

Not sure if i had shook it from a tree, think i just caught it mid air.

Roof shaped wing ( it actually has two smaller underwings too ) , the wing is not mottled in any way .....more like a dun in terms of lack of real colour.

The abdomen was beige and it was about the length of my finger nail, if not smaller.

Not a big sedge by any means....

Cheers
