I used to fish Felix Farm some years ago then moved away from the area in 04; in the interim the fishery went downhill somewhat but was bought last year by Rob Barrett. Having returned to the area recently I called in a few weeks ago. I found it friendly and welcoming. The place is looking tired in some areas, but clear water, plenty of fly and wildlife and good head of hard fighting rainbows make it very enjoyable; but don't be fooled, it is deep and can be a challenge - but that is what makes it a good day out.

It is situated close to the M4 but that has never really bothered me, nor did it bother the many people who used to fish it when in its heyday, or indeed those people who are now re-finding the place. Rob has an uphill battle to re-establish the once good reputation - especially in this economic climate - but the more custom he has, the more he can improve the place... so spread the word around: NEW OWNER, NEW START - GIVE IT A GO!
