ok thanks for coming alan,seems like lake 1 fished much better yesterday than specimen lake to tiny buzzers,but on your next visit in spring will be more activity i am sure-and will be a bit greener around!

still fishing well to buzzers and bloodworms-either fished static or very slow retrieve,intermdiate lines slow retrieve and float lines with a bung static-black/green and red colours-aerator keeping ice at bay when needed!

aerator still running and the odd fisherman out today still caught to buzzer tactics-not long till stalking water opens

faster movingt fish-on blue fish fry patterns and orange bunnies-so lures now working in mild weather after 4 weeks of buzzers and bloods

Landed 17 fish here today in just over 4 hours including a decent 5lb brown. Used sinking link, orange and silver size 12 and a green cats whisker with orange bead on tail. Both with a fast retrieve. The fish were moving very fast, very deep with plenty of acrobatics and tail walking.

both lakes fishing well this weekend-most all catching most limits plus-to a real variety of fry patterns nymphs and wets-orange the most popular colour with 3 fish over 5lb landed and also a couple of chunky brownies.lake 2 fished well to black goldhead ptns on floating line-stalking pool for 3.5lb plus fish allmost ready!

a good weeks fishing to various tactics from sinking line with cats whisker to floating line with a dry black gnat on-all methods catching fish at right time of day-somme good hatches of small flies allready-a fe 5lb fish landed this week with a few brownies landed also

It was a great honour to catch another of your nice brownies Mr 22lbs, and for it to be the first fish to grace your stalking waters. I had to leave a bit earlier than I wanted on Saturday, but I'll be back, you can bet on it!
