Default Burton Springs

Fished this place today, absolutely superb, Dave and Simon have put in some bigger, blues, bows and Browns, for the next few months to spice things up, and I was fortunate to hook a nice double towards the end of the evening, along with a fair few other fish.

Now at Burton Springs you can get a catch and release ticket for £15, so I was able to return the "said beastie" to the water.

I have to say that since they have taken over These two faimilies have worked really hard at improving what was already a good fishhery. In addition, they now offer sandwiches and even arrange a breakfast if you should feel the need. They deserve to do well.

Worth a try, and if you choose your evening right it's very quiet.

Another cracking day at this little fishery.

Got there on Sunday at about 4:00 pm and didn/t stop catching fish off of the top. They were also in quite an aggressive mood, ripping the line from my hand at times.

Best methods: floating with shipmans, or midge tip with washing line.
