Excellent attitude towards beginners. You can share a ticket with a novice / beginner and share the catch. Plenty of fish within a beginner's casting range - my daughter (14) took less than an hour to catch her first fish all by herself.

Beautifully clear water makes the fishing more interesting and very stalkable, which is worthwhile here because of the many large brownies in all the lakes.

Rainbows are typically between 2 - 3lb, browns from 5lb and up, several blue trout of 2 - 3lb also. A few doubles are always in there for us to find if we look hard enough.

I have only ever come here on a weekday (never too busy) but others tell me that weekends can be a little busy.

Easy bank access makes disabled access relatively good, and the staff are always helpful if you need assistance.
