I fished Lakedown last weekend and its fishing really well. Lakes 1 and 2 are still quite coloured but lakes 3 and 4 are nice and clear. The fish are in extremely good condition and put up a really good scrap, plus of course the venue is fantastic.

Now the sun is starting to shine I may well head down sometime soon. One of my favourite fisheries and also the home now of the annual Childrens Trust charity fly fishing day I help to organise.
As you say, you can't beat the location.

I'm planning on heading down there this Sunday, will be my 1st time fishing the location. Any advice on what patterns might be good?
