I agree not a bad idea in theory but I tried to book a boat today only to be told Ferryhill angling club had them booked, I understand that some people are members of both clubs but where does that leave Tunstall members who pay for the use of the fishery?

Hello pedro I'm in total agreement with you regarding boat bookings members should come first when I book a boat I generally book 1 week before as I fish by my self, I think some time in the future boats may be booked and they don't turn up, I think let them fish on a Tuesday or Thursday let them pay for a duty bailiff why should we lose out especially when you as a member were over looked which means all 150+ members were over looked for non members.

Hi Hook and Pedro have been up again today caught a nice 3lb er also last saterday caught a couple. as for the boats i asked and the answer was the ferrhill compertition is held every year and thats it.But as hook say book in advance you have more chance. Tom

I was up last Sunday and had 3 nice rainbows on the dries in the morning that were as fit as fire. Was also up 2 weeks previous to that on the boat and had 8 fully finned rainbows drifting the treeline with the dries great sport.

Hello Lads, I was up today first time in 8 weeks I fished down the point in the bay as luck would have it I choose the wrong place up beside the house was where the fish were the lads were catching them on blobs not something I use the boats were doing very well with black hoppers h/hogs s/hogs and cdcs as for me blanko, due to a rise in water height the dam wall is closed until further notice.

Hi Robbie was up there saterday caught a nice 3lber on a foam beetle it was very windy and maid casting very hard but still learning only a few weeks left off the season then what to do?????. Tom::mad

Hi tomtomato, in October there will be the Autumn bash we will all be allowed to kill 4 fish plus a notice will be put up in the lodge advising us what we will be allowed it happen's every year good luck to you and all.
3lb is a good fish and I like fishing foam buzzers I better get myself up.
