"Tokens cost £2.50 each and are supplied in books of 5 or 10 (£12.50 or £25.00) plus a £1.95 postage and admin charge. The tokens are valid for any beat but can only be used once."

Good luck with the Severn scheme troutmask.

One small query; can any unused vouchers in the books be carried over from one year into the next?

Not at present...but given the lateness of the season we may have to break the usual rules (which are set by the Association of River Trusts). I am consulting on this and will amend the website once I have an answer.
I have the answer
Please note that vouchers purchased from the SRT in 2011 will also be able to be used on SRT beats during 2012. They would not normally be carried over, but in this case will be. 2011 vouchers from other trusts passport schemes will not be valid on SRT beats in 2012 and neither will SRT 2011 vouchers be valid in 2012 on other river trusts schemes.

I will certainly look forward to the addition of any new beats to the website with bated breath.

There are some great tributaries to the Severn that are a delight to fish and I'm sure that the SRT has already secured more tasty beats just waiting to add to the scheme.

Good luck to all those involved.

Mick.

We have a few still under negotiation and other places where further environmental work is required before offering fishing opportunities. Always pleased to get suggestions for more. Visit the SRT site and use the contact form if you have any to make,

I did manage a preliminary sneak preview of some of the earmarked venues at a Riverfly course I attended last year run by the SRT last year so I think the prospects look good.

Certainly some streams that spring to mind for fly fishing would be Clun, Onny and Rea.

Mick.
