Default Lough Atorick, County Galway

Does anyone know anything about Lough Atorick, Co Galway?

I live on london, but I'm blessed with family just across the Derg in North Tipp, so I was thinking of having a wander over to wet a line in the Atorick this Summer.

I can't find much on the web, but I'm told it has a brownie or two ... can anyone add anything?

Pretty much what Gerryb said. I only fished it once from a drifting boat in a fairly high wind and I can still remember the little brownies coming out of the sides of the waves to hit our wets It was a nice spot and plenty eager brownies, in the 4 or 5 to the lb range. Go early season to avoid the midges April, may. It could be tough enough to fish from the bank, think quiet a bit of it was planted. Would be ideal in a tube.

Edit to add, its in Clare!
