Default The Welsh Dee

Hi all,

I'm planning a Grayling trip on the Welsh Dee. This will be my first time up at that part of Wales as I normally visit the Wye catchment area for my Winter Grayling trips.
I'm after some info on the best area to base ourselves. I would also appreciate any info on the day ticket beats of this river and any other rivers in the area that hold Grayling.
I look forward to your replies,
Cheers,
Mark

Llangollen is probably as good a base as any plently of accomodation, you may have more luck on the River updates section if you post on the River Dee section re day ticket waters.

Thanks for the info guys.
I'll have a look at that area.
Do you know of any other rivers within an hours drive of Llangollen that hold Grayling ?
Cheers ,
Mark

Starsky,

The Bala Angling Association's water near Bala will come into play before the rest of the river. It is in full flood today and more rain and gales are promised for tonight

John ,
Thanks for that .
I'm planning to visit for four days fishing so weather permitting I should be able to fish a variety of beats.
