Planning a weeks fishing trip in North Yorkshire next year - does anybody know of any good self catering accommodation for 2 plus a dog and fly fishing nearby?

Anybody heard of Ashfield Holiday Cottages near Pickering in North Yorkshire?

You could try here. I stayed last year, they have a short but good beat on the Yorkshire Dove

Many thanks I will look into that - have been having a good look round the net and found this Yorkshire Accommodation and Tourism site which looks good, plus Lockwood Beck which looks brill. Will see what else I can find then get something booked.

Never been myself but this place was recomended yesterday on here in another Thread and it looks very nice
