Default Cancun Fly Fishing ?

Hi there

Going to Cancun in Feb next year, wondering if anyone has used any of the fly fishing / light spinning charters and which ones are recommended for a day trip.

I've fly fished the lagoon just behind the hotels. It has a healthy population of tarpon in the couple of pound up to 50lb class, plus snook, cudas etc. I fished with a guide called Rodman Hunter who, despite the corny name, was very good.

Pesca Maya do day trips picking you up at your hotel (about 6am) then taking you fishing in ascension Bay where you can cast a fly at all the fish we dream of......I have used them and they always delivered, i was usually fishing by 9am and have caught bones, permit, tarpon, cuda, jack crevalle, etc
i believe they also do Blue Water now too?
Hope you have fun whatever you do.

Any pointers on the cost involved should you elect to go wading as opposed to a skiff or do you absolutly need a skiff to get to the marks. Thanks.
