Hi all, just got back from Cuba stayed at Cayo Guillermo,fished Cayo Paredon with guides caught my first permit and plenty of bonefish.




also fished DIY around Cayo Guillermo and caught lots of bonefish had a real good time.

Have been thinking of a Cuba trip on a DIY basis last year but it seems the access to the cayos (guillermo, coco, paredon, romano) is restricted to the customers of the hotels.

I'm not in this kind of places, more interested in local casas de huespedes or even camping/sleeping in the car for limited budget.

If anybody has a clear answer about the possibility of access withou being a customer of this big complex, please let us know !
