Default my cuba trip

just back from three weeks holiday and thought you might like to see what i caught
bone fish makes for the horizon ,i had 15 this day and lost 4

managed to land my first tarpon on my eight weight guide said it was between 30 and 40 ,i was miffed that the guide put water on the lense off his hand and spoiled my only photo ,this fish took me abour 3/4 of an hour to land had two others on around the hundred but they came off when jumping

i went out another day and caught a small snapper on the way up it was taken by this

it fought as good in the boat as in the water

i then caught this which nearly pulled me off the boat the guide and my mate caught me by the waist off my trousers, it tipped the scales at 60 kilos ,130 pounds ,awesome fight, had me knackered i had to sit down for an hour to recover

my mate caught this the same day i had mine ,it took him about 2 and a half hours on a seven weight hardy sintrix ,rather crazy really but it swam away well when released

What happened to the big tarpon's top lip, looks cut in two at the nose?

That grouper is the one for me, what a mouth!!

I ate grouper once, quite unlike any fish I have ever tasted. It is to monkfish what monkfish is to coalie!
