hI, I am shortly going on a world tour and will be visiting Canada for a month. I am flying into Montreal and making my way across canada and departing from Vancouver for NZ. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to fish or where to go that could include some fishing on a Budget. Also what is the Fishing like at this time of year. I would love to try for salmon over there.

What I know wouldn't quite fill a thimble, but here it is. It'll be a great time to fish! There should be some king salmon in the rivers of BC as well as some steelhead and coastal cutthroats. A little later on toward August the silver salmon should make an appearance along with increasing numbers of steelhead and coastal cutts.
I'm sure some of the other members can give much greater detail. My only other suggestion would be to check out some fishing guide books on the areas your aiming at and of course, surf the web for info.
World tour eh, what a concept.
