Have fished most of the mid to lower Keys areas, but never the Key Largo area, so can't help I am afraid.

There will be a few members on here who might be able to give you some info, but in all honesty you are better asking the same question on some of the US forums, such as the Florida Fishing Forum, Florida Sport Fishing Forum, or any number of others, most of which have dedicated regional sections.

Put the same question up on as many as you can, and don't forget to state whether your friend is looking for back country flats or offshore fishing, fly, bait, spin, or a combination.......Then check all the replies, and see which names crop up the most.....Go for one or more of these, and he won't go far wrong, but book early, as the best guides are obviously the busiest.

A bad guide can absolutely ruin your trip, and whilst they say there are no bad guides in the Keys, that is not strictly true, as I found out to my cost many moons ago, when I first started making my now annual trips over.

As Brian says - we need more specific requirements before we can help. I.e offshore or back country, time of year, fly or bait etc etc.

That counts me out - I'm a backcountry fly man - apologies.

Apart from the places Genty has suggested, look at Worldsea fishing (esp the holiday bit) - that might be useful.
