What type of fish are you after, how do you intend to get there, when dou you want to go and how do you or rather the other members of your family feel about mozzies?

.... no worries about woods, apart from the coastal strip Sweden is more or less one big forest.

Bens 100 does the trick. Kept the mozzies at bay in Cuba. Can't reccomend it highly enough.

A guy I work with swears by this place but he goes for the pike so I have no clue what the trout fishing is like:

Nature Resort Vrmland, Naturlig lyx

Take care

Stormclan,

I know you said you are not bothered about salmon b utthe salmon and sea trout on the morrum are out of this world and it is a lovely river to fish and a nice area. There is nice camping available.

Regards,

Ed

This one was in the classifieds a little while ago, looks nice might be worth dropping them a line with your questions:

I just got back from Stockholm for work and saw lots of people with fishing rods in the city centre. Not meaning to hijack this thread anyone know of locations in the south of the country (excluding the Morrum).

which airport are you flying to? No use wanting to fish the Morrum if you are landing in Stockholm! I have been over several times, coarse fishing, but I can't think of anywhere where I could not have caught trout as well. I know that on the Klarelven you can canoe (Eksherad?) pony trek and catch trout and grayling as well as coarse species. I caught a grayling thereon float and worm just at the campsite there. Great place. I also saw a good few fish at hagfors in the river ( amazing numbers of wild raspberries too!)

Never had time to fish there though!
