I am planning a trip to the southern norway from 8-15 june.
we are planning to head for the kvennan stretch of the glomma. Does anyone know if there are some other good waters around there that will be easily accessible? We are looking for some small streams and lakes for a bit of diversity.

or would you recommend going to somewhere else in southern norway?

we will unfortunately only be traveling by public transport so will be somewhat restricted.

Try Kvenan camping. They give a masterclass in flyfishing and know the beats.

I've never fished the Glomma, but have heard many warm reports. Basically the whole river is alive with trout and grayling. There's some very large whitefish to be had in other reaches too.
