Default Pyrenees

Am taking a hiking hol in early July starting near Foix, France, and ending up on the other side of the Pyrenees at Berga, Spain. Any pointy me lugging a rod with me. Googled the area but found little. Any advice/tips very welcome.
Thanks
Kalvsjon

Don't see why not, zig zagged through the Pyrenees a few times but never fished it, however, do remember seeing a lot of suitable terrain.

A quick look on Google Earth is the usual trick; stick in both your start and end point in the directions part, then search for familiar looking aerial views of snaking rivers / streams, keep the option for photos on whilst doing this and you'll usually find someone has been obliging, here's the first one spotted, looks good to me:

... and a clip to show typical terrain (although probably not all of it is like this, as on some of the high spots it's a bit open in places).

Thought it was worth showing ... may have to get back there one day:

The Spanish side of the Pyrenees is fantastic fishing.
I fished there with my nephew from Madrid, through a company called Salvelinus.com who specialise in that region, but for sure you can do DIY. Have a look on that site, it'll give you an idea of the fishing available.

I recently read an article in a magazine where the correspondent was hosted by Salvelinus. Their prices are too rich for me but there looks to be fantastic fishing in the area for brown, brook and a supposedly native trout that very little is known about, called the Zebra Trout. The Spanish side of the Pyrenees has been on my wish list for a while and it would be great if you could update us on how it goes.

This link has some fishing in the area:
