Default Thailand in September

Hi gents,

Anyone flyfished Thailand? My wife and I are going this autumn and I never travel to the beach without a flyrod. Just curious about what's around for both fish and possibly guides. Normally I end up fishing from the beach with some clousers, but I have a feeling that won't work as well in Thailand. I'd consider taking a medium spinning rod as well.

We don't have a location set yet, so this could help sway me. I'm not interested in coarse fishing which I know Thailand has lots of. I would be interested in stream fishing if that is available.

Thanks,
Rick

I was out there 18 months ago after the Snakehead. I will always remember fishing from a canoe on the River Kwai chucking big flies in the river with locals looking at us as if we should be locked up in a madhouse!
