Default Fly Fishing Tuscany

Hi there,

Just booked a weeks holiday in Tuscany for the beginning of August. What a stroke of luck, I just happened to pick a property a couple of miles from the Tevere. So hoping to get at least one day fly fishing there.

Anyone any experience of fishing there, permits required, guides, info of any kind?

Cheers
Stuart

You can have the perfect fly, tied with excellent materials but if you do not present it in the right place and in the best possible way, it serves no purpose! Massimo Magliocco

Max, thanks for that. By co-incidence I found him on the internet and emailed him last night! Sounds like I'm on the right track!

Cheers

Thanks Steven,

Hopefully weather will be kind. Will post some pics and a report up here. Also have sent you a pm about the Eden later in August.

Cheers
Stuart

Tuscany is heaven on earth.
Food , folks , wine and sun.

Mad-am and her extended family ( daughter , daughter's husband , 2 grandweans , son & partner ) have just spent a fortnight in the North of the region.
I , however , declined their kind invitation to a quiet holiday , stayed at home , and fished local rivers for a fortnight.

I wonder who got the best deal ?
