Just wondering if anyone could help. I normal fish near Settle but am stuck in Bradford and wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any local fly fishing venues that are open all year round so I don't go completely mad!

Have found various mentions and links to a place in Kippax but can't find much about it.

Depends what you're after really - river wise you could get down to Pool on the wharfe for grayling - 4 quid a pop from the petrol station. Also the aire at Bingley's meant to have a good population and again as far as I'm aware day tickets are inexpensive. As for stillwaters i can't really help you i'm afraid! Hope this is of some use.

Stillwaters - Closest one to Bradford probably Billing Dam at Rawdon but thats closed for now, other than that the closest is probably Raygill between Keighley and Skipton. Worth travelling that little bit further and going to Kilnsey though I reckon, probably not much further than Kippax.

Don't exactly know the area, but ended up at kilnsey (as mentioned above) last summer ... should have been on the wharf but the weather was so hot and the river so low that I whimped out and had an easy day on kilnsey.
Had a great afternoon on there. Good set up too, especially for this time of year, if you get cold, you can go get a coffee and something to eat in the cafe .... that is if you can stop catching for long enough !!

I think the lake in Kippax will be Rainbow Lake on this page.
