well done to everyone who made the team, it was a hard days fishing with rain and strong winds making casting difficult, At the dinner and prize giving later that night,The lord mayor of Carrickfergus, alderman Jim McClurg payed tribute to all the anglers who traveled from all corners of Ireland to fish in this new event. He also added that he had done a bit of fishing in the past, and must make a point of getting up to woodford for a days fishing in the very near future.
A good time had by all.
