Mostly Three Trees to Fantasy in open water ,some at East Creek and Church Bay, some at Mound to Whitwell , Arms didn't produce yesterday.

Fish up in the wind lanes some did well pulling lures but other struggled , my boat partner and I both bagged up by 3 ish all on nymphs and we should have been finished a lot earlier

Now that was a close result - just 1oz between first and second.

Well done all, especially my Peregrine team mates. Would rather have been sat in a boat with you, than cattle class in a Ryanair jet!

Bring on the Lexus final.

That's what happens when there's no time bonus...it turns into a lottery...! ! ! ...just luck on the size of the fish..

i bet there was no size difference between blob fish and nymph fish ! ! !

Actually I really think the bigger fish would have been caught out in the open water from say the middle of the Dam - Fantasy....and on blobs

Should have been an easy bag up day anyway ! !

Are you suggesting that the number of fish caught does not reflect any of the anglers ability to catch the fish.
As for the lottery of no time bonus i was beaten in a comp last year despite being in the only pair to bag up. You know the rules before you start fishing. It is just as well you can't target bigger fish eh? I really do think your comment is twoddle

I haven't been on the water for two weeks so I'm really hoping the weather is going to be kind this weekend.

The sooner 'all' comps are bag weight 'only' the better all round!!.. the pullers will maybe slow their left or right arm (been there n done it).. instead, enjoy a good day afloat without worrying about TIME BONUSUS!!... The method/area you fish/use depicts the size of fish you wish to encounter... its like Hemp and Tare fishing for Roach.. Maggot and Caster too... you will be targetting beter quality fish everytime.. IMO this will bring people back to this part of our sport

Well said Martin, not that I get to experience the rewards for times bonuses that often, the 'ruling' does change the experience of the match it's applied to.

Maybe Rob is right, maybe there wasnt any difference in Blob and the nymph caught fish..... but maybe, just maybe there was........
