Best Fish Stuart Pickard 2lb 10oz i think sorry can't remember the weights Prince albert were third with 41 fish and Ruabon fourth.

Have to say it fished it's head off for two day's and there were plenty of older fish around too which might have been a bit smaller than the recent stockies but they were all in fantastic condition and fought well above their weight.

Good to see Alwyn back and Brenig returning to form can't wait for the Tynant.

Yeah I agree - the fish were in fine fettle and nice to see so many blues amongst them. Shame that the event was so poorly attended. Requiring Teams to cough up £50 as a contribution towards the cost of their meal at the International Final won't encourage participation though......

i ve heard there was only 4 teams entered.... with poor old ruabon coming 4th hey stu you gota catch more fish man... poor old pete past his sell by date!!!!!

It was only four Robroy, sadly a number of teams pulled out for various reasons, never makes a good match when numbers are so low.

Guess it's a sign of the times, petrol, fishing, digs and of course beer soon mount up.
