Default Snowbee Master Pairs Competition results

The Snowbee Masters pairs competition was excellent with the quality of the fish and fishing, which saw most anglers putting many 4lb fish back as they knew that to stand any chance with winning they needed heavier fish, as so many larger were being caught and weighed in.

The results in the end were,in 1st place and winning a total of £500 in prizes, were Jock Ewing and Walter Senior with 4 fish of 19lbs 15ozs,2nd place ,winning £200 of prizes was Mark Morrison and Marc Moss with 19lbs 13ozs,3rd place winning over £130 of prizes was Brian McGlashan and Alec Cruickshank with 18lbs 12ozs.

Winner of the heaviest fish was Jock Ewing with an 8lb 4oz fish.

40 anglers competed and plenty of fish over 4lbs were caught and weighed in which made it a close competition.

All in all it was a great day out and very good fishing, especially for people who had travelled a fair distance to compete, all enjoyed the day and fabulous Buffet and sportsmanship from everyone was first class. A small selection of some of the larger fish which were caught were, John Adams Snr 7lb 7oz,Jock Ewing 8lb 4oz,Steve wright 6lb 10 and 5lb 2oz,Mark Morrison 6lb and 5lb 3oz,Brian McGlashan 5lb 3 and 5lb 2oz,marc Moss4lb 4oz and 4lb 6oz,Tommy Watson 5lb 5oz,Alec cruickshank 4lb 6oz and 4lb 1oz,jack Lawton 4lb 2,Walter senior 4lb 8oz. Jack Lawton also received £100 for a tagged fish caught.

Just like to Thank Kevin,Davie and the rest of the Staff at the glen for their hospitality A special mention to the Catering Lady for a lovely Buffet Lunch she never halted all day.
I am by no means a Compy Angler but I enjoyed the nice friendly way in which this was run and look forward to my next visit.
Just a footnote to Tam in the wheelchair I have thrown my Braveheart dvd away as he realiably informed me that it wasn't true any way

ATB
