Hot sunshine with strong winds made for a grewler of a match.

Jamie Hogg took top Individual spot securing his place in the final at Elinor along with P. J. Scholes in second.

3rd + 4th place finishers will need to wait untill all qualifiers are complete to find out if they've made it through.

Eye the lads did good Carl, very very hard going.

Just to note, Sam Bayleaf did well also, but he's already qualified as an individual from Curleys.

What happend to Nick ? thought he may have entered. Would have been good to have a G-tec team in.

Aye, it'll be a good final mate!! And the Team will be a strong one, no doubt on that!

We'd toy'd with the idea of entering, but personal circumstances wouldn't allow it. Maybe next year. Unfortunately, fishing can't always come first, as much as we'd all like it too! LOL....

Wudve loved to have fished it Fred but like most people was working, who decided on today for the match?
I am off work now until Weds next week, why couldnt it have been fished when you had more chance of an entry?.
If organisers are keen to improve entries they should make it more accessible.

I fished the heat @Stocks yesterday i would like to thank Stocks and the orginisers it were hard going yesterday the wind were blowing and the bright sunshine didnt help.I am looking forward to the final@ Elinor in October thanks Fritzcat.

Not me ...., the date was chosen by the fishery mate but if you and any others weren't able to make it but wanted to you should have given me a bell, if i'd had known i would have tried to re arrange with fishery to suit all.

Nick, i do have two heat places in the reserve tank and i have fishery's in place ,{ as i've put on here already }but if you know of a fishery that could take part and would be well attended.......... just let me know.

The heat at Stocks would have been much better attended had it not been on a workday.
I reckon entry may well have doubled. Dont know for sure. What i do know is that there would have been at least another team in it.
Will give it some thought for another heat Fred.
