Default Glen of rothes bank International results

In blistering heat and bright sunshine the worthy winners who go through to the final at Howwood on the 29th are as follows.

1st kevin Andrews 26 fish
2nd Chris Mcallister 25 fish
3rd kevin Neri 21 fish
4th Alec Bowler 18 fish
5th Ian Adam 14 fish
6th Stuart Mc Cormick 12 fish
7th Willie Riddicks 11 fish

17 anglers took part and those who won are very worthy winners and deserving of their places and showed their skills as anglers in what was very hard conditions.Buzzers were the winning flies and fish were sub surface and constant for much of the day,but not easy to tempt. It certainly wasnt a stockie bash ,for sure and that made it even more deserving for the winners
temperature was close to 19degrees and Bright sunshine.Stuart Montgomery got a surprise when he hooked into a 21lbs common Carp which was released.
Total of 196 fish were landed average of 11 fish per person.many were lost as barbless hooks were enforced and made it all the more interesting fishing aswell.

Just like to say a big thakyou to Kevin and his staff for a great day.And well done to the other boys who qulified for the final. Plenty of hard fighting trout despite the bright sunshine...However there was one nasty incident when a rather overweight labrador stole my pork pies.

Wully
