Just spoken to my team mate who is on his way back up the road, hard day apparently, only three bag-ups, one of which was Graham Pearson.

Mate seems to think 53 wasn't a match boat, said it was one of three boats anchored outside the lodge area blocking drifting traffic.

Just read on another forum that Carl Nixon won the fry bash.

Hope its true and that he wasnt in boat 53.

Totally agree Stuart. He is a great lad and a great fly tyer and is only a matter of time before he represents his country having been reserve before.

I'd like to add my congratulations to Carl , very good , consistent angling ,
also our thanks to all who attended , & make this match so popular .
especially ,Jim Crawford , George Baron , Ronnie & Daryl from Ireland ,
Ben Dobson & the guys from stocks & Mike Laycock for doing the weigh in & results.
John Allen for providing best fish trophies, & Paul Davidson for photography.
& of coarse Chris Guthrie for organising the event
All in all a great couple of day fishing !!!!
