Default LOM Boat league

Its all over does'nt 14 weeks fly by when your having fun !!

Congratulations to Ian Skilling on winning the league this year, Andy mckay in second and my mate BahBah for pipping me for 3rd spot

I would also like to thank Quint and Douglas for there efforts in organising and running this competition and therefore making it the success that it is, also Martin Grantham of The Angling Centre Stirling for his sponsorship and the fantastic prizes that he awards every week.

Point for discussion;- at the moment the format for the comp is this - catch and kill your first 5 fish - these fish are the only ones that count on the night and are weighed in and the points and placings on the night are then awarded for these bag weights (you can continue fishing c&r after your 5 fish but they dont count in the comp) - some say that this can be a bit of a lottery as there is often numerous "bag ups" . There is talk of the format being changed - What suggestions would you make to alter the present format and therefore minimise the "lottery" factor ???? At the moment you can also choose your boat partner on the night and therefore fish with your mate.
