Default Lexus Team Chew Monday

just spoke to one of the angkers - very hard. I think Bristol won it with 37 fish but 17 was third

Is that 'fish' plural or 'fish' singular Dr Kill?

Just interested in how many takes you had?

I didnt have a great deal of takes to be honest Steve, half a dozen at the most, found it very hard going. The fish I refered to one I hooked and dropped. My boat partner (Ben Dobson) reckond it was a good fish , probably 4lb if not a bit bigger........******.

Annoying thing is I had six on the practice day......oh well

Chew can be a real b*tch when it wants, as can most places Dr Kill.

I suffered a double blank (not a pull either on practice or comp day) on my first trip down; took me three months to get my head back on straight.

Thankfully things have picked up slightly since then (not much)

I just hope the weather gods are kind on Thursday and Friday.

Take care and see you at Stocks

Congrats to the Blagdon Fly Fishers for a commanding performance.
Chew has been really tough for a couple of weeks or more, so a team bag of 37 was pretty good.
With the weather not looking good for the rest of the week - good luck to all those who still have to fish
