A quick summary.
21 degrees bright sun at 07:30am, stayed like that for about 3 hours with the temperatures increasing all the time.Eventually cloud came over followed very quickly by the most dramatic Lightning/ thunderstorm I have ever witnessed during the day. This lasted for about 3 hours with torrential rain and the wind swinging from south right round to north west. conditions eased for the last hour but I think the fish were still shellshocked from the pressure changes!!!!!.
As far as catches went, to my amazement, Jim Gardiner from "up north" who hadn't been on the Lake for a couple of years had 5 fish, Mark Steven had 4(3caught really early in the day). Dougie Skedd and John Buchanan managed 3 each J Bonnelli and D mateer had 2 each. Well done guys.
Personally I didn't see 1 rod bend all day, 13 of the fish were taken in a very small area, why they were feeding/playing and not anywhere else is pretty weird.
