Any body got the results for Sunday

Hi.

By all accounts this is it...

First Garry Davies of Corwen 13 fish for 24lb 1oz. Second place George Barron 12 fish for 22lb 5oz and third place Alan Hill 11 fish for 20lb 4oz.

Nice to see the lake fishing a bit better now...............

Second placed angler was George Brown not Barron although the latter George would have welcomed second place. A hard days fishing were the average bag weight for four fish was between 6 and 7 pounds!!

The Tynant comp is run by the Welsh club Llanilar and is superbly sponsered by Tynant water .
The competition is run on an invite only basis where in scotland the 10 invites are given out by Alan Hill , The english 10 by Chris Guthrie and the irish by Ronnie patterson .The past winners of the Tynant I believe always recieve an invite .
The rest of the invites are distributed by George Baron of the very succesful Llanilar Fly Fishing club .
One of the most friendly competitions I have ever fished in and have made lots of great friends .
Amassive pat on the back to the organisers and sponsors on a job very well done .

Thanks for the reply Jim,That sounds like a great competition and fished in the right spirit by the sounds of things ,and i dare say there's plenty of spirit on the go in the pub afterwards
