Just to let people know that I've been asked to organise a river qualifier for the Northern region of TEFF next year (2012) on the Reeth & District Angling Club waters of the Swale.

We are planning to hold this on Sunday June 3rd. I still have to confirm this and the other details with the Reeth club at their AGM in January; but I wanted to let people know the plans asap.

We held the same event on the same water last year and expect the details to be much the same. However, I'm planning to have pegged starting places to avoid a mad rush at the start. Also we may not allow competitors to fish the water for 1 or 2 weeks prior to the competition in order to reduce pressure on the water.

I'll confirm all the details asap, but in the interim if anyone has any questions just ask.

Yes, thee are no grayling in that stretch of the Swale.
