The 2009 champ Ken Oliver led the way into the Carron Valley Masters by winning the second semi.

He had a haul of 12 trout, with James Litster not far behind on 10. Reigning champ James Fairlie also made it through.

Results and qualifiers: 1st Ken Oliver – 12 for 395.5cm. 2nd James Litster – 10for 333cm. 3rd Ronnie Glass – 7 for 240.5cm. 4th Mathew Holdroyd. 5th Richard Bow. 6th Stewart Mclean. 7th Mick Tait. 8th John Morton. 9th James Fairlie. 10th Max McKinstrie. 11th Colin Martin. 12th Peter Edge. 13th Malcolm Miller.


Max McKinstrie and Peter Edge cannot make the final so two others were “bumped up”. Kenny McLean is the wildcard from the previous heat who will be invited to the final to even up the pairings.
