Good match and congratulations to the Soldier Palmers, Cormorants and Greenwell

Full result was :

1. Soldier Palmers
2. Airflo Team Cormorants
3. Greenwell Persuaders
4. Team Frog Hair
5. Rio Masters
6. Pitsford Pirates
7. Team Rio Draycote Flyers
8. Defenders
9. EYFA

Grafham fished pretty well given the weather, but got much harder as the day wore on. Rod average 5.13

Charlie

Well done to the Soldier Palmers getting through to the final. A rod average of 5.13 sounds like a good match.

Was tough after 1400, if you bagged after that time then you did very well as it just turned off. The wind dropped around 1630 and I switched to the midgetip, took another two on Nymphs fairly quick, if it dropped an hour earlier I'd have had the 8 definitely as they started to take a nymph after seeing to many blobs.

Great day on the water though, poor old Rob finished at 1330 and drove me around for the rest of the day in the boat getting very wet.

Was given one yesterday by Mr Edmonds, the man chucks the line a mile and pulls like an express train First drift and he has a double up and had a nice lump at the willows.

I was happy to get 6 by the end as it just more difficult as the day went on. There was some surprising blanks and low numbers, but thats fishing And cracking result for Al Owen and his team!!

We'll have to have a trip to Draycote soon
