Weather again was absolutely pap strong gusts in no particular direction and the heavens opened for 2 hours none stop then it just rained for 3 hours then the sun showed itself in the last 20 mins
The anglers were told that the fishing had been on the easy side for the past few days so double figures were going to be needed if you were looking to qualify today said the management
The day started with trevor Wadds getting off to a flyer with 4 fish from his first peg with the only other fish coming from richard Wood who turned up 20 mins after the start.
2nd peg seen Richard bag another 3 with 2 other fish being caught
3rd peg saw Graeme Kennerly bag 3 fish with Trevor landing another
4th peg before trhe break seen Trevor land another with Gareth tilley netting 2 fish in 2 casts and dropping a double hookup with regular local angler Bill King caught a fish on the whistle which didnt count proved very costly as this would have put him in the final
After dinner dave franklin netted another fish on the whistle which was disqualified but still managed to net 2 fish after this everything went dead as they say until we seen Mr king land another fish with 20 mins left however no more fish came to the net which meant 4 anglers on 3 fish as the results were very tight

1st TREVOR WADDS 8 fish

2nd RICHARD WOOD 4 fish

3rd DAVE FRANKLIN 3 fish 5lb 6oz

4th BILL KING 3 fish 5lb 1oz

also with 3 fish who didnt make it were Gareth Tilly and regular Graeme Kennerly
