Yup, I was duped as well, Anglian Water website competition calendar states 15 June, yet when BC called he said it was 22 June.

The good news is the wind direction has remained SW to W since Sunday so those fish won't have gone far

Well?..... We 'Pro's' lost by around a couple of pounds... A rare occasion let me tell you! mind you, we did help em by giving flies etc.. eh Roy??... ha ha!

A big well done to Joan Russell who not only managed the biggest fish but she got the top bag too!! 8 fish for almost 20lbs! Rules were catch 8 fish and pack in!!... Didnt mind the no time bonus but what was wrong with de-barbing and carry on fishing C&R without adding to your bag weight? Just to spread the day?

Ps, the weather was perfect James!!

I was stuck in the morning mate on my way South... So was Mike Barrett.... Had to make an hour detour and arrived for the comp just in time... Mike was just behind me! The prob was Southbound in Newark area.. Grafham fished its nuts off!!
