Conditions were strong N/E winds with gusts up to 40mph with hardly a cloud in the sky this didnt dampen spirits as it was Aldins 1st heat with lots of regulars in attendance of 5 teams
the fish seem to come to the net on a regular basis in the morning session from all areas of the lake with the wind picking up speed by the break which gave the lake a rest there was nothing between the 5 teams so it was all to play for in the afternoon as time went on it was noticable that 3 teams were slowly pulling away from the field and catching the odd fish here and there, we also had a surprise visit from the 2011 bank manager alan jenkins who went around talking to a few of the lads self included asking how things were going and a few invites were made for the team get together at waskely,by the last session it was rumoured that it was between 2 teams and so they were right well done to all who attended and congratulations to the winners
