Howard caught 14 fish on a pleasure session in the week a head of the match, he caught over both pools using a variety of flies but favoring small dries such as CDC's and small Hoppers. On the day of the match he used the same approach to catch his winning bag of 9 fish. The weather let us down on Sunday with very strong gusts and bright sun, wasn't the ideal fishing conditions but the day was enjoyed by all.
