Some of the Hanningfield guys fished it and I only know that Kieron Bonas won it and Steve Cullen was second - 31 fished but do not know the other qualifiers or the team result.

Just three limits both arms heavily coloured I was told.

It's funny how things pan out, Last year I shared a boat with Rob Edmunds, he finished an hour before me and yet I still won with weight. This year I finished two hours before Keiron and came 2nd. What goes around comes around!

I also believe there was some cheating going on at this event? Is it time that phone's were banned on competition day, as in no phones on the water?!

Yes I have been aware of phones being used to cheat in a few comps I have been in.Need to be banned.but how do you go about it.they will say I need my phone for safety.Or I need to keep in touch with my work.

To my astonishment, my boat partner answered his phone to deal with an issue at work.

It wasn't as if we were somewhere secluded, we were sitting right in the middle of the pack at U bouy and he wasn't exactly discreet about it.

The glare he got from me was suffice he didn't do it again during the session.
