Default Rib Valley Greys Bank National Heat

With a full turnout including a number of top Internationals fishing, this was a tough match fished in a strong Easterly breeze. Steve Cullen and Jeff "Razors" Wilkinson did really well to take the top two slots with exceptional bags on the day.

Best methods involved fishing deep, either with lures on a Di3 or the bung with small lures or buzzers, but you had to work really hard to get any takes - every one of my fish came to a different fly.

Individual Result

1. Steve Cullen (no team) - 9 fish
2. Jeff Wilkinson (Rib Valley Razor Sharp Flies) - 8 fish
3. Charlie Abrahams (Rib Valley Razor Sharp Flies) - 6 fish
4. Leigh Pond (Hanningfield) - 6 fish
5. Bart Farmer (Rib Valley Razor Sharp Flies) - 5 fish

Teams

1. Rib Valley Razor Sharp Flies - 19 fish
2. Hanningfield - 11 fish

I felt sorry for the stewards, a hard, cold day with nowt much happening!
Well done all to involved - in the organising - and those that gave up their time on such a miserable day to help out!
