Can I be the first to congratulate FJ on organising this competition. It was a really brilliant day and good fun. On a personnal note I would also like to thank all the sponsors who donated prizes and I would also like to thank FJ for being so patient and helpfull in the boat with me. I can honestly say I learnt a great deal from him and he was more than willing to share his wisdom and knowledge.

Kev

Not so sure about wisdom and knowledge but I'm always happy to share tactics and flies. It was a bit of a long shot today but it paid off in the end. That double header at the start put me in good shape mind

Pleasure sharing a boat with you and lets aim to make the competition an annual event - the basics are in place now so should be easier for next time.

I'd also like to mention Mal Matthews's 3rd place. A great achievement on a difficult day by someone who's only fished 2 or 3 times this year - Well done Penfold!

Speak soon

G.

Thank you FJ for a very well run event, other organisations could do with your organising skills

I had a cracking day with Del Boy, it was very enjoyable and educational Diolch Del Boy.

It was nice to meet fellow forum members, Glasydorlan, Del Boy and youreself.

Again, well done on the event and I hope that I will be able to take part next year.

Hwyl

Emyr yr Awel

Luckily for me I won a prize of 40 flies tied by emyr yr awel. I have just seen the flies he sent me and I'm absolutely delighted with what he's sent me. They are works of art and real quality so thank you very much once more for having the opportunity to take part and emyr, "diolch o galon"
