Default Scottish Bank team fundraiser!

Allandale Tarn Fisheries at West Calder will be holding a raffle over the next few weeks to raise funds for our Scottish SANA Bank angling team. Any donation for prizes will be much appreciated as everything raised will help towards funding these guys who will be going on to represent Bonny Scotland!
Anyone out there who's competed at this level before will know of the
huge personnal expenses involved, so any sponsorship would be very
much appreciated!

Thanks all!

Over £500.00 per angler I heard. Surely SANA will help out with a large chunk from the entry money they made. They are supposed to have gained around £70,000 extra funding for their new set up.

Well done Iona, will the list of prizes be on the forum so that us in the West can be included? The team need all encouragement for this new venture. Too many people are knocking it. I thought the SANA bashing season was over.

Your in the right vain Campbell.

BUT
Is there cows jumping over the moon? Is there Tarpon in the forth? Is all men made equal? Thats about the same odds as SANA helping, they have thier money.

Default Thanks

Great to hear of the support from Iona at Allandale.

As part of the Scottish Stillwater team, I was also pleased to see the support we received for the raffle on Monday from our fellow anglers at Menteith.

Although the guys are all honoured to be representing Scotland they will have to sacrifice a lot of time and money in order to do that, and anything the team receives will help reduce that burden.

Regardless of any politics surrounding the Scottish competition scene whether it's the River team, Lochstyle team or Stillwater team we are all anglers together, with the same aim - to get the best possible result for Scotland.

Get behind the guys and I'm sure it will give them the added confidence of knowing they are being supported.

Mike

A swordfish was pulled out the Forth after getting tangled in Lobster pot ropes. Is that good enough?

the top 3 of the team recieved cash prizes!!! would it not have been better keeping that money for funding. the reward of being in the team should have been enough
