Just thought id start a thread on this years world cup if it has not already been done?
Any updates or complaints or flies or dries or fights or lines or fluro or mono or shallows or deeps or good boatmen or bad boatmen information would be very welcome over the next few days!!!!!!!!!

Thursday and friday were very poor.
Saturday and today saw some improvement with daphnia feeders to the fore.
I hear someone had a 6Lb fish today and the heat winner today had 5 fish.

Mike Keady with 5 fish. Not sure of the name of the man that was second. Ronnie Law third. Joe Quinn fourth. Happy days-electric engine for meeeeeeeeeeee (and maybe a Loomis...am I asking too much????)

Congrats and a big well done to Mike. A great result on a tough day. Well done to all the prize winners they did well on a lough thats a long way from its best. Now I am of to practice tying droppers.....
